I’m a London-based journalist specialising in fashion, travel and art writing, as well as consultation for online content development. This website is home to my online portfolio – a selection of work from the past six years.

With over five years’ hard fashion graft at Worth Global Style Network (www.wgsn.com) - the world's leading online service providing news, research and trends analysis for the style industries – I’ve gained an excellent knowledge of the trend forecasting industry, expertise in online content development and a well-worn passport.

Taking in the far-flung corners of the globe from catwalk reporting in São Paulo, to designer interviews in Istanbul; writing retail and inspirational city guides from Buenos Aires to the French Riviera, via Amsterdam and Marrakech; tracking retail developments, consumer trends, product launches and analysis of international art exhibitions; not to mention client management – this all adds up to a firm understanding of the demands of catering to both a global and local readership.

Add to this several years spent living and working abroad having taken in a large slice of Asia, including Tokyo, Seoul and Bangkok, and a stint living in the US and Australia. No wonder the passport is looking a little worn, but at least the Samsonites are holding up well.

Most recently a senior editor at WGSN, travel and arts coverage has become my speciality: writing city guides aimed both at the consumer and fashion industry professionals; uncovering the hottest youth hang-outs; the latest niche hotel or emerging consumer travel trends; as well as unravelling inspirational art and design exhibitions.

My contributions to the international press are equally broad as I’m a regular writer for the Financial Times’ How To Spend It and Business of Fashion pages and have written for the International Herald Tribune, the Bangkok Post Magazine, British Vogue, the Independent newspaper and Saturday magazine, Elle Hong Kong, Elle Thailand and the South China Morning Post.
